At Ford, we are building the Universal Electric Vehicle, and we are rewriting the rulebook on how software is delivered. The Role: As a Technical Program Manager, you will be the glue between leadership, business, and developers. But unlike traditional TPMs, you will carry a toolkit of AI agents to help you ship faster. You will not just manage the program; you will engineer the process. You will work with business stakeholders to translate vague ideas into rigorous technical requirements that are so clear, an AI Coding Agent could implement them. You will handle operational tasks—like vendor evaluation and PO management—by automating the heavy lifting. And for small features or bug fixes, you won’t wait for a developer; you will spin up an IDE and use AI to fix it yourself. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, organizational prowess, and the technical confidence to use AI as a force multiplier.
