About The Position

The IT Product Management Specialist Intern role at Salesforce is designed for undergraduate students who are interested in contributing to the development of innovative solutions for employees using Salesforce software products. Interns will work on real projects that impact the business, collaborating with global teams and gaining hands-on experience in Agile methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or other relevant majors.
• Expected graduation dates between December 2024 and May 2025.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Strong listening skills and willingness to ask questions for clarity.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to follow up diligently on tasks.
• Self-starter with high motivation and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adopt best practices.

Nice To Haves

• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including business process analysis, requirements and design, data modeling, functional design, test planning, and UAT execution.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data, conduct surveys, and participate in focus groups to gather business needs and requirements.
• Write functional specifications for new capabilities based on users' needs.
• Clearly document and communicate necessary information to engineers for solution design.
• Keep pace with evolving business requirements and collaborate with engineers to design optimal solutions.
• Write User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
• Utilize Agile and Iterative methodologies during the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Coordinate and schedule cross-functional activities with other teams.
