About the position
The IT Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing the procurement of IT hardware, software, and services. This role involves planning, coordination, and escalation of procurement-related issues, as well as creating SAP requisitions and purchase orders. The specialist will collaborate with various departments to ensure effective procurement processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage procurement of IT hardware, software, and services.
- Create SAP requisitions and purchase orders for processing.
- Plan and coordinate procurement-related activities.
- Route and escalate procurement issues as necessary.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Services, Legal, Risk, Subject Matter Experts, and internal customers.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience with technology procurements.
- Experience with SAP creating purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Contract Management
- Experience with Vendor Management
- Experience using ServiceNow
- Knowledge of CA public contracting law.
