The IT Procurement Architect will design technical solutions to enable business processes while performing technology planning and consulting for applications required for Indirect Procurement. Products in the portfolio include NextGen (Coupa), Guided Buy (GEP), Beeline, and Concur. This position will apply deep technology knowledge to achieve business goals and enterprise strategy while minimizing ongoing costs. The selected candidate will be recognized as the integration expert and will be expected to be a thought leader in how data will flow from procurement applications to the various ERP systems at Caterpillar. They will also be expected to understand purchasing practices and financial standards and apply them to solutions ensuring they meet all business and regulatory needs.
