About The Position

As an intern in the IT Planning and Finance department at Selective, you will gain valuable insights into financial concepts and practices within the insurance industry. Requirements

• Must be a current college student to qualify (rising juniors and seniors preferred).
• Demonstrate an interest in learning about the insurance industry.
• Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly forecasting processes by gathering data, updating financial applications, and preparing variance analyses.
• Assist in analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and preparing reports to support decision-making processes.
• Opportunity to automate and enhance Excel workbooks by adding more formulas, pivot tables, and checks and balances.

Benefits
