About The Position

The Clinical Informatics Pharmacist at Baptist Health South Florida is responsible for providing application support and optimization of Pharmacy/Medication process applications within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, specifically Cerner-Pharm net. This role integrates clinical practice with technology to enhance medication safety and pharmaceutical care, ensuring high-quality support and troubleshooting for pharmacy applications.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in Pharmacy.
• Registered Pharmacist license.
• At least 5 years of Cerner informatics experience.
• Knowledge of Pharmacy Systems such as automated dispensing cabinets, Dose-edge, IV pumps, IV robotics, Carousel technology, and narcotics surveillance.
• Critical thinking skills and effective communication abilities.
• Decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support and optimization of Pharmacy/Medication process applications (Cerner-Pharm net) within the EHR.
• Assist with analysis, design, build, configuration, testing, implementation, and maintenance of Cerner.
• Responsible for application support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Combine knowledge of clinical practice, medication safety, and high-quality pharmaceutical care with technology.
