About The Position

The PACS Administrator evaluates desktop PACS issues, analyzes database and integration issues, maintains records of network configurations, software installations, and policies. Monitors PACS servers and storage, helps install imaging equipment and verifies network connectivity, develops and maintains general knowledge of radiology workflow. Maintains understanding of clinical portion of hospital information systems as well as other responsibilities and duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or associate's degree in Computer Science or in an IT related field preferred or equivalent IT experience
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Healthcare IT experience preferred
