About The Position

Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) is seeking a IT/OT Senior Project/Program Facilitator I to be based in our Aiken, SC location on the Savannah River Site (SRS). The IT/OT Senior Project/Program Facilitator I manages the Information and Operational Technology (IT/OT) ongoing innovation initiatives, project work streams, program development and serves as liaison between IT/OT programs teams, project management, project team, and line management to expedite the execution of work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, Associate's degree, or high school diploma/GED with practical experience in programs, projects, or other engineering or technical area

  • Conceptual understanding of facility processes, systems and equipment.
  • In-depth knowledge of project and program scheduling and cost tracking
  • Knowledge of general or specific safety, environmental, regulatory, safeguards, security, emergency preparedness programs, policies, practices and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of schedules and schedule integration including support resources required to accomplish tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of EVMS guidelines related to cost, scope, schedule and risk management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).

Responsibilities

  • Acts as work stream leader for multiple IT/OT innovation initiatives, program development, project activities, and serving as primary point of contact and liaison for activities within the scope of IT/OT Programs and Innovation organization. Contact with internal and external customers and frequent interface with other facility groups and departments including mid/upper management.
  • Manages, and coordinates to completion IT/OT innovation initiatives and program development activities including support of scope, schedule, cost tracking, staffing reviews and resource assignments as required to successfully complete the project and program work stream.
  • Contributes to the development of overall IT/OT project and programs scope including technical requirements, materials, equipment and resources. Supports preparation and maintains detailed scope documentation for project and program work stream modifications.
  • Maintains a comprehensive awareness of IT/OT scheduled project and program work and drives the IT/OT schedules, resources and paperwork to task readiness and coordinates/leads the planning and deployment through to completion.
  • Represents the IT/OT project and program team in status, integration or other meetings.
  • Ensures that work performed is being done according to technical work documents, by appropriate personnel assigned to the work, and according to safety standards.
  • Reviews and modifies documents necessary to expedite work prior to submitting for approval including planning documents, design packages, new IT/OT program guides, and associated training.
  • When required, serves as the Person In Charge (PIC) over assigned IT/OT project and program evolutions.
  • Assists in integrating IT/OT innovation initiatives, project schedule activities into the facility scheduling programs (i.e. POW, POD, IPT, and long range planning).
  • Other duties as assigned.
