About The Position

The IT Operations Technician (Computer Option) is a position used by various agencies throughout the state. This is entry through full performance operations support for data communications equipment, mainframe and client server operations, and network operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and maintaining mainframe, client server, and computer network equipment
• Providing technical support for data communications equipment and network operations
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to mainframe, client server, and computer network equipment
• Maintaining and updating documentation and records related to IT operations
• Collaborating with other IT staff to ensure effective and efficient operations
• Participating in on-call rotations and responding to after-hours technical issues
