About The Position

KBR is seeking an IT Operations Lead to provide IT infrastructure O&M sustainment. The position is contingent upon contract award and is onsite, requiring candidates to be within commuting distance to the United States Coast Guard facility in Alexandria, Virginia. The role involves stabilizing, securing, and modernizing the USCG's IT infrastructure, improving integration of all USCG C5I systems, and creating a collaborative team to enable shared risk. The IT Operations Lead will oversee the enterprise operations model that executes management of events, incidents, problems, and changes, and will manage the Command Center Operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT infrastructure O&M sustainment.
• Stabilize, secure and modernize the USCG's IT infrastructure.
• Improve integration of all USCG C5I systems.
• Create a collaborative team to enable shared risk.
• Ensure the existing IT infrastructure is maintained and operates effectively.
• Improve governance of IT assets, configuration, and change management.
• Support the USCG transition to a mature IT Managed Services environment.
• Manage the Command Center Operations.
