About The Position

The IT Onboarding & Access Management Specialist leads and executes complex onboarding, offboarding, and access management processes across the enterprise. The responsibilities of this role include overseeing secure, compliant, and efficient management of the identity lifecycle, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, and leading initiatives for process automation and ongoing improvement.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in IT Operations, End-User Computing, or Identity & Access Management, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Expertise in Entra ID/Azure AD, Microsoft 365, Intune Autopilot, and ITSM tools.
  • Strong understanding of identity governance, compliance frameworks, and security best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead process improvement and automation projects.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications preferred: ITIL Foundation, SC-300, MS-102, Security+, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, contractors, and privileged accounts.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex onboarding and access issues, providing expert troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Collaborate with HR, Security, and business units to ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding experiences.
  • Develop and maintain detailed runbooks, SOPs, and training materials for onboarding and access management.
  • Drive automation initiatives for identity provisioning, license assignment, and device enrollment using tools like Entra ID/Azure AD, Intune Autopilot, and ServiceNow.
  • Design and implement identity governance and access control policies to meet compliance requirements (SOX, GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Define and report on KPIs and SLAs for onboarding and access management activities to senior leadership.
  • Oversee lifecycle management of user identities, including provisioning, modification, and deprovisioning across all enterprise applications.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional projects related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or other organizational changes impacting onboarding and access.
