About The Position

We are looking for an IT Network and Systems Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of experience who wants to expand their skills in cloud technologies, Microsoft 365, networking, endpoint management and security. You will work in a hybrid environment that includes on-premises Active Directory integrated with Microsoft 365 and AWS cloud services. This is a hands-on position focused on implementation, troubleshooting, and support, with opportunities to assist in infrastructure projects under the guidance of management IT staff.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, System Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in IT systems/network engineering or administration.
  • 1 - 2 years of AWS cloud administration experience.
  • 1 - 2 years of experience providing helpdesk troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Strong knowledge of systems and network fundamentals (software, hardware, firewalls, VPNs, switches).
  • Strong Knowledge of endpoint management (Windows laptops/desktops, installed applications, patching).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and willingness to learn.
  • Understanding of IT security basics (patching, MFA, antivirus, penetration testing).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with scripting and automation tools are a plus.
  • Certifications like CompTIA+, CCNA, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with AWS cloud administration. (IAM, EC2, S3 and monitoring)
  • Support Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint permissions).
  • Manage Active Directory in a hybrid environment.
  • Install, configure and maintain network components such as switches, firewalls and wireless access points.
  • Provide support for issues from the help desk (servers, network connectivity, cloud services).
  • Handle user onboarding and offboarding and account provisioning across AD and M365.
  • Perform routine system checks, backups, and patching activities.
  • Assist with security tools (endpoint protection, MFA, vulnerability scans).
  • Maintain and troubleshoot endpoints (laptops, desktops) and installed software, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Document processes and maintain accurate system records.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors, document problems and resolutions, prioritize problems, and assess impact.
