About The Position
Aegis Worldwide is curently partnered with a steel manufacturer.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in IT or related field, or 3–5 years of relevant network administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, servers, and connectivity.
- Experience with network security tools (firewalls, antivirus, encryption, intrusion prevention).
- Familiarity with Windows Server environments and virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with working knowledge of Visual Studio and MS SQL.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and interpret technical documentation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to support users and collaborate with IT teams.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, software, and infrastructure (LAN/WAN).
- Monitor network performance, security, and availability, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Analyze and resolve network, server, and connectivity problems across the organization.
- Maintain and support network security tools including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion prevention systems.
- Assist with administration of Windows Server environments, including virtualization (Hyper-V).
- Create and maintain documentation related to network configurations, inventory, and system changes.
- Provide end-user support, including responding to help desk requests, and performing system upgrades, moves, adds, and changes.
