IT Network Administrator performs security measures for the protection of computer networks and information.
Manage IP addresses, schemes, DNS, and DHCP services effectively.
Install and maintain firewall server and associated hardware, encompassing physical setup, assembly, upgrades, and internal component replacement.
Actively monitor traffic flows and logs in real time. Detect, contain, and remediate security threats.
Monitor the health of the firewall tracking performance metrics, storage utilization, and capacity trends for proactive planning and optimization.
Maintain endpoint security by continuously monitoring endpoint activity, enforcing security policies, conducting regular health checks, and managing the deployment, configuration, and updates of endpoint protection agents. Responsible for detecting and removing unauthorized or unapproved software across all endpoints.
Develop and implement scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.) to automate routine tasks, such as network monitoring and report generation, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual effort.
Develop and maintain network documentation (e.g., configuration guides, operational procedures, network diagrams, network access control policies, asset tracking).
Provide technical network support for escalated complex system issues, including in-depth diagnostics, root-cause analysis, and resolution to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
Research and recommend network devices and services that align with business goals.
Associate's Degree/ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology OR equivalent experience
