  • Administer multiple systems (Cisco switches, Cisco Wireless LAN controllers, DNS/DHCP on various platforms), and act as Tier 1 and 2 escalation point for the IT Client Services Team for issues with the LAN/WLAN environment
  • Work with IT Client Services team to setup Printers and activate additional network ports for users
  • Install, configure, maintain, and trace/correct faults in network devices and cabling
  • Upgrade Cisco switch/route hardware to the latest recommended releases to mitigate security risks
  • Manage IP address allocation and tracking in IP Address Management (IPAM) tools
  • Perform troubleshooting at all OSI layers including routing issues
  • Utilize IT Operations Management tools (SolarWinds, etc.) to monitor environment and respond to and resolve issues in a timely fashion for affected nodes, links, and sites
  • Open and monitor vendor support cases
  • Provide real-time support during changes as needed
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation for Network Operations group as well as for network functional team escalations
  • Ensure adherence to network configuration and compliance standards
  • Create and update documentation and diagrams including use of Microsoft Visio
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred
  • 2+ years experience as a hands-on Network Administrator supporting a large, globally-distributed networks including data centers is required
  • CCNA: Routing and Switching (R&S) certification is required (current and valid)
  • CCNP: Routing and Switching (R&S) certification is preferred
