About The Position

The Master Data / Compliance Administrator is responsible for planning, managing, and executing the activities associated with detailed analysis and maintenance of all vendor master data including Insurance Certificate Program management. This individual is a key participant in the development of and adherence to master data processes, governance standards, policies, and protocol to drive efficiency, minimize risk, and ensure compliance with government regulations and corporate standards for Vendor Master and Insurance Certificate. Duties: This role provides support to help streamline the global master data process. The Master Data/Compliance Administrator will interface with Sourcing team members, platform resources, end-users, insurance agency/broker, third party suppliers, and Corporate Management in the execution of his/her duties and responsibilities:

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, or related field; or an Associate’s degree and 3+ years of experience working in data management, supply chain, or related discipline within an ERP system environment.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the Vendor Master database and Certificate of Insurance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain the vendor master data for Arrowhead Engineered Products and its subsidiaries within multiple ERP systems
  • Coordinate subsequent data maintenance activities with the enterprise to assure completeness of data content
  • Determine requirements for additional data types, data views, and data fields based on enterprise requirements
  • Monitor vendor master data integrity on a continuous basis to assure adherence to company standards and policies
  • Support and adhere to the company’s data cleansing and archiving policies and procedures
  • Modify/publish data standards as required to support modifications, enhancements of business processes
  • Maintain a strong understanding of vendor master data requirements in the ERP environments and the impacts of data elements on all enterprise systems
  • Facilitate and/or participate in business process improvement and change sessions in support of the company’s process improvement initiatives
  • Identify functional gaps and determine resolutions/workarounds to include consolidation of vendor accounts
  • Ensure efficiency and data quality for all functions within the ERP systems
  • Assist with vendor management training materials and facilitate sessions as needed.
  • Monitor, review, and submit Certificate of Insurance (COI) for compliance/deficiencies within COI Management Program.
  • Generate and distribute monthly COI expiration report to site leads. Work directly with site leads to establish vendor compliance.
