About The Position

The IT Manager oversees the technology infrastructure, systems, and support services across all Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas campuses. This role ensures reliable network operations, manages technology assets, supervises IT staff, and supports administrators, teachers, and students with high-quality customer service. The IT Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining technological solutions that support instructional programs and operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems administration or IT management.
  • Knowledge of networking, servers, hardware troubleshooting, and cloud-based systems.
  • Experience managing help desk operations and supervising IT personnel.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in K–12 education, public sector, or multi-site environments.
  • Certifications such as MS Azure, AWS, GCS, CCNA, CCNP CompTIA Network+, A+, Security+, Microsoft, or Cisco.
  • Experience with student information systems, Google Workspace, and device management tools.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily IT operations and ensure network reliability in Eastgate campus and across all CASLV campuses.
  • Plan, install, and maintain hardware, software, servers, and network systems.
  • Monitor system performance, conduct diagnostics, and implement upgrades as needed.
  • Oversee inventory, asset tracking, device deployment, and lifecycle replacement schedules.
  • Assist with technology needs for assessments, classroom instruction, and administrative systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors for purchasing, licensing, service agreements, and project implementation.
  • Provide training and support to staff on software, hardware, and digital tools.
  • Work closely with leadership to support long-term technology planning and innovation.
  • Travel to other campuses as needed and perform other technology-related duties as assigned.
