About The Position

As a Workday IT Platform Manager at ChenMed, you will be part of a diverse team that is focused on innovating and transforming healthcare through technology. Your role will involve managing a team of application developers and system administrators who enhance and support a variety of products including Workday, ServiceNow, Icertis, DocuSign, Jira, Confluence, Formstack, Quantum Workplace, ePrescribe, and Change Healthcare. You will monitor the performance of enterprise applications, collaborate with the Product/PMO team to maintain a framework for new technology requests, and create an application library/configuration management database. Additionally, you will leverage existing tools to enhance procurement processes and application license tracking, identify and correct technical debt, and ensure that service operations meet or exceed stated Service Level Agreements and Operational Level Agreements. Your leadership will guide and develop a team of IT professionals in both technical proficiency and service delivery effectiveness.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Information, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 6 years of professional work experience in the IT industry.
  • A minimum of 2 years work experience in resource management.
  • IT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of application developers and system administrators.
  • Monitor performance of enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate with the Product/PMO team to create and maintain a framework for new technology requests.
  • Create and maintain an application library/configuration management database.
  • Leverage existing tools to enhance procurement process and application license tracking.
  • Identify and correct tech debt to align with best practice architecture.
  • Continuously analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders to develop creative solutions for IT needs.
  • Ensure service operations meet and/or exceed stated Service Level Agreements and Operational Level Agreements.
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and contractors to ensure quality and cost control requirements are achieved.
  • Lead, guide, grow, and develop a team of IT professionals in technical proficiency and service delivery effectiveness.
