About The Position
The City of Roanoke is seeking an IT Manager to oversee and direct the day-to-day activities of Information Technology services areas. The successful applicant will provide analysis, planning, and technical leadership of complex information technology initiatives; implement strategies for IT operations, ensure efficient working of all IT staff and ensures compliance to all deadlines and service level agreements; and provide budget input and serves as a member of the IT management team. Managers in this position specialize in service areas such as project implementation, application systems, development and integration, planning and strategy, network and radio, and datacenter.
