The IT Manager - Meter to Cash (M2C) Technology is a strategic technology leader responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of IT services and systems that support the end-to-end Meter to Cash lifecycle. This includes accountability for the performance, delivery, and evolution of critical applications spanning Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) operations, SAP S/4HANA backend towers, and legacy billing and credit/collections systems—all essential to enabling accurate metering, timely billing, and effective revenue management across the enterprise. This leader manages a diverse application portfolio, ensuring seamless integration, high availability, and compliance with regulatory and operational standards. The role includes ownership of the technology roadmap, end-to-end accountability for project execution and operational support, vendor and partner oversight, and a continuous focus on optimizing system performance and enhancing customer outcomes. The IT Manager partners closely with business and regulatory stakeholders while leading IT teams to design and deliver scalable, efficient, and resilient solutions. They will champion Agile delivery practices, provide project governance, and ensure initiatives are executed within scope, on schedule, and aligned to strategic goals. This role also holds financial accountability for the M2C technology domain, including budget planning, forecasting, and cost stewardship. As a member of the IT leadership team, this individual plays a key role in modernizing the M2C application landscape, preparing legacy environments for future transitions, and driving long-term business value through technology enablement.

  • Own the end-to-end delivery and support of Meter to Cash technologies, including AMI operations, SAP S/4HANA backend systems, and legacy billing and collections platforms.
  • Lead development and execution of the technology roadmap, aligning with enterprise strategy, regulatory timelines, and operational priorities.
  • Ensure reliable system performance, high availability, and rapid issue resolution through proactive monitoring and support oversight.
  • Oversee planning, budgeting, and financial management for all Meter to Cash IT activities, ensuring cost-effective delivery and resource allocation.
  • Partner with regulatory, legal, business, and IT stakeholders to fulfill regulatory mandates and respond to audit and inquiry requests in a timely manner.
  • Direct Agile delivery practices across projects and teams, providing governance and removing barriers to successful execution.
  • Collaborate with architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and vendor teams to drive secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.
  • Accountable for modernization initiatives across legacy platforms, guiding the transition to next-generation systems and integrations.
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring performance and alignment with contractual obligations.
  • Mentor and coach internal team members, promoting collaboration, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology, with a focus on backend systems supporting lines of business and operations.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, including direct management of teams and people leaders.
  • Proven track record leading cross-functional delivery in Agile environments, with familiarity in SAFe or similar scaled Agile frameworks.
  • Demonstrated success in driving large-scale technology initiatives, particularly involving CIS systems.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and enterprise-level roadmaps.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to partner effectively across technology and business units to align on strategy and execution.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ - 900) - Foundation certification demonstrating knowledge of core Azure services, cloud concepts, and governance.
