IT Manager, Finance & Operations-NC (Dynamics 365 REQUIRED)
About The Position
As the IT Manager for Finance & Operations, you will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) platform and related applications across our North American business. This role requires deep, hands‑on experience with D365 F&O—particularly within supply chain, manufacturing, and finance—paired with strong leadership capabilities in managing a hybrid team of internal analysts and external partners. You will oversee day‑to-day operational support, lead continuous improvement initiatives, strengthen system stability, and guide our multi‑site ERP environment to ensure it delivers reliable, scalable value to the business. This is hybrid role, where coming onsite to our Greensboro, NC facility 1-2 days per week is preferred. Minimal/Intermittent Travel (1-2 times/Quarter)
Requirements
- 8–10 years of IT experience within an ERP ecosystem, with strong hands‑on expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and/or Dynamics AX.
- Deep functional understanding of supply chain, manufacturing, and finance processes within a production‑oriented business.
- Demonstrated experience supporting multi‑site ERP deployments.
- Proven ability to coach, develop, and motivate both direct reports and contractors.
- Skilled in managing application maintenance, triage, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Comfortable navigating a fast‑paced environment with strong prioritization, communication, and customer service skills.
- A strategic thinker who is not afraid to challenge assumptions and introduce better ways of working.
- Passionate about technology modernization and driving business process improvement.

Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT Analysts and contractors, ensuring high‑quality delivery of requirements and support activities.
- Provide hands‑on expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, acting as the subject matter expert for supply chain, manufacturing, & finance processes.
- Oversee end‑to-end application support and ticket management for the Finance & Operations portfolio, ensuring issues are resolved effectively and SLAs are consistently met.
- Conduct daily standups with internal staff and Managed Service Providers to coordinate priorities and ensure operational stability.
- Own and manage all security and compliance activities for in‑scope applications, including access administration and audit readiness.
- Evaluate and reduce customizations by promoting standard D365 functionality and aligning business processes with best practices.
- Support and influence continuous improvement using the Vontier Business System (VBS) tools and methodology.
- Support multi‑site ERP operations, ensuring consistency, reliability, and alignment across locations.
