About the position

Acadia Healthcare is seeking an experienced IT Manager (Field) to join the team in Franklin, TN. The IT Manager - Field is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the field services team to ensure efficient and effective delivery of IT services. This role is responsible for representing IT infrastructure in all phases of construction, expansion and other projects delivering success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage schedules for field service personnel, ensuring optimal resource allocation and deployment delivery on projects.
  • Ensure accurate ordering and delivery of all infrastructure hardware specific to each type of project.
  • Ensure accuracy of low voltage SOW and other vendor proposals.
  • Manage relationship with low voltage, staffing and other field services vendors.
  • Conduct onsite and virtual assessments of new and existing builds and provide deliverables.
  • Oversee small scale IT projects ensuring success.
  • Create and implement processes for field services technicians.
  • Create and implement processes and structure for IT infrastructure areas on construction projects.
  • Assist with onsite technology deployments as needed.
  • Recruit, hire, train and manage a high performing team of IT field professionals.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of direct experience in enterprise IT.
  • 2-3 years of direct experience in managing a field team.
  • 2-3 years of experience working on large-scale projects.
  • 2-3 years of experience working on construction projects.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IT Infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and modify floor plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and to effectively communicate with staff at all levels including a proven ability to communicate with technical and non-technical staff across multiple disciplines.
  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring IT team(s).
  • Excellent presentation skills and an ability to engage audiences.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to act independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to build relationships and work well across functions.
  • Experience in a collaborative team environment, delegating workload and responsibilities.
  • Maintains direction and focus through proactive planning and organized approaches to work.
  • Demonstrated poise and grace under pressure.
  • Communicates a 'can-do' attitude and positive outlook, minimizing negative behaviors.
