About The Position

The IT Liaison for Research at Mayo Clinic is responsible for implementing research applications and ensuring that software meets user needs across multiple campuses. This role serves as a bridge between research applications and end users, facilitating communication and collaboration on research projects. The position requires a comprehensive understanding of research processes and data flow within a large healthcare institution, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills to support workflow analysis and application enhancement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare, or related field with 5 years of experience in a research/IT/business administration setting, or 8 years of experience in a research setting/IT/Business Administration.
• Comprehensive understanding of research practice and data flow in a large healthcare institution.
• Experience in multiple research functions within a large healthcare institution.
• Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
• Strong writing skills for documentation and communication of project activity.
• Time management and organizational skills with the ability to make quick decisions.
• Ability to facilitate teamwork and bring groups to consensus.
• Knowledge of research practice and applications to develop process flow requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement research applications and ensure software meets user needs across Mayo campuses.
