About The Position

The Summer IT Internship at Fairview Health Services offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in healthcare IT. Interns will be assigned to various teams based on their skills and interests, working on projects that enhance their understanding of IT in a healthcare setting. The internship runs from June 3 to August 16, 2025, and involves full-time hours during regular business days. Interns will collaborate with IT professionals, support technology tasks, and participate in team meetings.

Requirements

  • Enrolled as a full-time or part-time student pursuing a Bachelor's or Associate degree with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA.
  • Completing a degree in computer science, math, management information systems, or business management.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and adapt to a changing environment.
  • Self-motivated with a curiosity about improving processes.

  • Experience within the healthcare industry.
  • Previous IT internship experience.
  • Technical skills including software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities
