About The Position

Manus works across industries and value chains to accelerate the transition to BioAlternatives - better performing and more sustainable versions of complex molecules traditionally sourced from plants, animals, or fossil fuels. Our platform is proven to work across scales, bridging the Valley of Death between lab and manufacturing more efficiently and more reliably to deliver the benefits of synthetic biology today. We are seeking a self-motivated and highly organized individual for a position that will assist in the Information Technology department at our Augusta BioFacility.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Must be within one (1) year of graduating.
• Basic understanding of operating systems, hardware, software applications, and networking concepts.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and learn quickly.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with programming languages, database management, or cloud technologies.
• Experience with help desk tools or ticketing systems.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, including troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
• Assist with system updates, backups, and routine maintenance of IT systems and equipment.
• Support the installation and configuration of hardware, peripherals, and software.
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining the company's network systems, including LAN, WAN, and wireless connections.
• Create and update technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and user manuals.
• Help track IT equipment inventory and ensure proper tagging and recording of new equipment.
• Assist with implementing and monitoring security protocols to protect company data.
• Participate in IT-related projects such as system migrations, software deployments, and infrastructure improvements.
