We are seeking a self-motivated and highly organized individual for a position that will assist in the Information Technology department at our Augusta BioFacility.

  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, including troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
  • Assist with system updates, backups, and routine maintenance of IT systems and equipment.
  • Support the installation and configuration of hardware, peripherals, and software.
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining the company's network systems, including LAN, WAN, and wireless connections.
  • Create and update technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and user manuals.
  • Help track IT equipment inventory and ensure proper tagging and recording of new equipment.
  • Assist with implementing and monitoring security protocols to protect company data.
  • Participate in IT-related projects such as system migrations, software deployments, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Must be within one (1) year of graduating.
  • Basic understanding of operating systems, hardware, software applications, and networking concepts.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and learn quickly.
  • Familiarity with programming languages, database management, or cloud technologies.
  • Experience with help desk tools or ticketing systems.
  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
