As a member of the IEL Service Desk team, an IT Service Desk Intern's main responsibility is to assist in new hire computer setups (both remote and on-site) and to handle the on-site deployment of that equipment for those hired in the Blue Ash office. An IT Service Desk intern is responsible for completing desk setups, moves, and decommissions as well as assigning tickets to the IT Service Desk team. The intern will shadow various members on the team to learn how to handle tickets and will be expected to diagnose and resolve tickets within his/her capability. A helpdesk intern is always expected to be polite and professional and may be asked to complete other tasks unrelated to helpdesk tickets.
