We are currently hiring for: IT Internship - This is a Full-Time and On-Site Position Key Responsibilities: Provide first-level and second-level technical support to staff via phone, email, chat, or in person. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues. Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Assist with software installations, updates, and licensing compliance. Manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Active Directory, email systems, and other platforms. Monitor system performance, identify issues, and escalate when necessary. Maintain documentation of technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps. Support video conferencing systems and collaboration tools. Ensure data backup processes are completed and assist in recovery when needed. Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to IT processes. Key Responsibilities Provide current and prospective employees with information regarding company policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, promotion opportunities, and employee benefits. Serve as a liaison between employees and management by answering questions, interpreting HR policies, assisting with contract administration, and helping resolve work-related concerns. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records; compile reports and metrics related to hires, transfers, performance reviews, attendance, and other personnel data. Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures. Support recruitment efforts, including posting positions, scheduling interviews, screening candidates, and coordinating onboarding and orientation activities. Demonstrate excellent customer service in all interactions with employees, applicants, managers, and external partners. Utilize MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at an intermediate level to prepare reports, documents, and presentations. Experience with Paycom is a plus! Perform other related HR duties as assigned to support departmental goals.

  • Actively pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related IT field.
  • This position will be required to travel between Baltimore, MD. and Hanover, MD. locations.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and basic troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eagerness to gain hands-on experience and contribute to meaningful projects.
  • Must have enthusiasm for IT and a passion for technology driven solutions.
  • Candidate must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug and background screen.
  • Experience with computer hardware assembly, software installation, and system configuration is a plus.
  • Experience with Paycom is a plus!
