About The Position

The Information Technology Intern is responsible for assisting with a variety of responsibilities in the IT department, including laptop/desktop/phone/server/network support and audio/visual equipment support in conference areas. This role would also assist in staging new laptops for our employees. The overarching goal is to provide technology support experience for anyone going into an information technology career.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in process in Information Technology or Computer Science related field.
• PC experience, Wired/Wireless Network experience.
• Ability to install/test software on Windows/Mac laptops.
• Customer-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Mature, responsible, driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Successful completion of a drug and background screen.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily support queue for resolving issues with staff laptops, phones, and conference room equipment for headquarter staff.
• Install software and test operation of new equipment for headquarter staff.
• Resolve technical issues with local area network and wireless infrastructure.
• Resolve printer issues throughout the headquarters.
• Assist our Infrastructure Security Analyst on maintenance of our datacenter components when required.
