The Identity Management intern will gain hands-on experience and exposure to cutting-edge identity and access management processes and platforms. You will work closely with our IT Security and Operations teams to ensure secure and efficient access for all Beckman Coulter associates. This position reports to the Beckman Coulter Identity Management team and is part of the IT organization, located on-site in Brea, CA.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Any exposure to Active Directory or basic scripting (e.g., PowerShell) is a plus, but not required.
  • Enthusiasm for learning about identity and access management.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with IT teams and business units to understand identity and access requirements.
  • Assist with the administration, monitoring, and optimization of Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems.
  • Participate in troubleshooting identity-related issues.
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of identity governance policies and procedures.

Benefits

  • Hourly rate of $30.00.
