About The Position
CITGO Petroleum Corporation is seeking an IT Intern for its Enterprise Content Management (ECM) team. This internship is designed for students who are eager to gain hands-on experience in the field of content management solutions. Under direct supervision, the intern will be responsible for developing content management solutions that align with the technical vision and strategy of CITGO's business units. The role involves working as both a functional and technical analyst on various technology projects that are aligned with high-priority goals of the organization. The primary responsibilities of the ECM Intern include designing and developing new applications, forms, reports, and workflows using different OpenText products and technologies. The intern will be expected to build both functional and technical knowledge to provide high levels of support to the business units. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assist in the process design efforts and evaluate technology solutions that enable effective content management. The intern will also assist team members and business users in analyzing processes and making recommendations for improvements. They will be involved in the analysis and design of SAP solutions for imaging, content management, and archiving. Additionally, the intern will collaborate with industry groups and develop a detailed knowledge of CITGO processes in specific areas of responsibility, including interactions with other business processes. Planning and executing less complex project deliverables will also be part of the intern's responsibilities. With guidance from subject matter experts, the intern will assist in investigating production system problems, ascertain root causes, and implement corrective actions. Training end-users and preparing appropriate training materials will be essential for ensuring that the solutions developed are effectively utilized. The intern will also have opportunities for professional development, focusing on enhancing both technical and leadership skills.
