Acadian Ambulance is currently seeking candidates for the IT Intern position focusing on Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD)/Geographic Information System (GIS) located in Lafayette, LA. The GIS/CAD Intern will assist Acadian Ambulance's Information Systems Department with maintaining and supporting our Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technologies. This Lafayette-based position offers students an opportunity to gain real-world experience in public safety GIS and CAD support. Interns will contribute to maintaining spatial and operational data, responding to IT service requests, and ensuring data accuracy for EMS dispatching systems.
