About The Position

As a Senior IT Integration & Communications Specialist, you will play a critical role in installing, testing, and optimizing technical assets while addressing design challenges and leading integration success. You will oversee the installation, testing, and activation of technical assets, ensuring smooth and efficient integration into the existing environment. You will assess design deficiencies in the field, developing innovative solutions and redesigning or modifying proposed designs as needed. Additionally, you will act as a primary point of contact for engaging and directing 3rd party vendor support to resolve escalated technical issues, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of integration efforts.

Requirements

• Equivalent to a high school diploma and experience troubleshooting and repairing metering and control systems.
• Five (5) years related experience for IT Integration Communication Specialist III.
• Seven (7) years related experience for IT Integration Communication Specialist, Senior.
• Ability to work on all types of supervisory equipment used by APS.
• Understand the functionality of control schematics.
• Ability to travel statewide, work outdoors, and work overtime.
• Demonstrated experience in substation design concepts/practices.
• A thorough understanding of protection, metering, and control concepts.
• Ability to apply and solve mathematical formulas using algebra and trigonometry.
• Familiarity with electronic circuit fundamentals.
• Demonstrated personal computer skills including working knowledge of hardware and software applications.
