About The Position
UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking an entry level IT Infrastructure Technician to join Infrastructure and Communication Technology (ICT), a unit within UFIT. Employment with UFIT provides an excellent opportunity to work with other employees who are dedicated and focused on understanding and interpreting the technological needs of the University of Florida's innovative and inspirational community. As part of ICT, you will join the Tier 2 Network Support team, which is the team that primarily works on the adding, removing, changing, and repair of infrastructure elements of the campus existing networking footprint, including remote off-campus locations around the state of Florida. As part of ICT, you will support and maintain moderately complex network systems. As part of the Tier 2 Network Support team, you will troubleshoot and develop network and communications solutions alike across campus.
