About The Position

The IT Infrastructure Intern at Watts will be part of a collaborative IT team, focusing on the setup, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems. Requirements

• Current sophomore or junior pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience or understanding of networking concepts and IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated commitment to integrity and respect in interactions with others.

Responsibilities

• Support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware and software systems.
• Support the IT team in managing system resources.
• Help monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Participate in the documentation of IT processes, procedures, and network diagrams.
• Provide support for IT-related projects and initiatives, including security protocol implementation.
• Ensure all IT equipment is inventoried and maintained.
• Respond to technical support requests and resolve user issues promptly.
