About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our IT Infrastructure team. This role offers hands-on exposure to the foundational elements of IT infrastructure, including data center operations, environmental systems (UPS, generators, cooling), and basic networking. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and contribute to maintaining and improving our infrastructure environment. This is a 10-week internship running from June through August 2026, based at our Plymouth, WI facility.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Basic understanding of IT hardware and networking concepts.
• Strong interest in infrastructure and data center technologies.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Year in school: Sophomore, Junior, or Senior.
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA.
• Must be legally authorized to work for a company in the U.S. without sponsorship both now and in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with cabling and rack setup.
• Exposure to network diagrams or infrastructure documentation.
• Basic knowledge of power systems and cooling mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining data center operations.
• Learn and support the setup and configuration of IT infrastructure components.
• Gain exposure to environmental systems such as UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), Backup Generators, and Cooling Systems.
• Support basic network troubleshooting and documentation.
• Help with inventory management of infrastructure hardware.
• Participate in routine checks and reporting on infrastructure health.
• Shadow senior team members during infrastructure upgrades or maintenance.
• Document processes and contribute to knowledge base articles.
