About The Position

The IT Infrastructure Intern will support day-to-day system administration tasks while gaining exposure to networking and cloud technologies. This role focuses on monitoring server health, backups, and virtual environments; assisting with identity and access management; learning Azure AD account hygiene; participating in golden image maintenance; and supporting hardware reviews and lab setup. The intern will work closely with senior team members, follow established procedures, and produce an end-of-internship “State of the Branches” report summarizing system health, backup performance, and lab configuration.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology (IT), Information Systems (IS / MIS), Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or Network Administration/Network Engineering
• Ability to work 100% in office.
• Demonstrated experience documenting technical tasks and following standard operating procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Prior internship, help desk, or lab experience is a plus but not required.
• Hands-on familiarity with Windows Server, virtualization (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware), or backup tools is beneficial.
• Exposure to AD/Azure AD account management and basic scripting or automation (PowerShell) is helpful.
