Learn more at tandemdiabetes.com A DAY IN THE LIFE: The IT Infrastructure Intern will have the opportunity to work directly with our Modern Workplace & Productivity Team, Network, and on prem Infrastructure Teams. This role will be introduced to cloud & on prem technology ranging from Microsoft 365, Azure, Copilot, Atlassian, OKTA, Fortinet, HPE, Nutanix, and other Infrastructure Tools.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to seamlessly prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365; including Copilot and Azure
  • Interest in understanding key business process and analyzing where automation can alleviate bottlenecks and pain points.
  • Scripting skills using Power Shell, Python, and/or BASH.
  • Basic understanding of networking fundamentals; TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, Firewalls.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server and/or Linux Fundamentals.
  • Exposure to virtualization concepts in Nutanix or Hyper-V.
  • Ability to present ideas and solutions to technical problems to both technical and non-technical employees.
  • Excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Detail oriented with ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and software licensing agreements.
  • High School Diploma
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Nice To Haves

  • 6 months experience in a Service Desk or IT Support Position, preferred but not required.
  • 6 months experience in a customer service role, preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assists with basic Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID administration.
  • Documents key business processes and analyzes where automation can assist.
  • Assists with Azure RBAC controls, M365 Groups, and Subscriptions
  • Provides data gathering and analysis from key systems and presents to management.
  • Asset Management and E-Waste Activities; including Storage & Data Center Cleanup Efforts.
  • Engages with Cyber Security Team on key OKTA project and Employee Experience initiatives.
  • Network and Infrastructure Monitoring and Report Build Out.
  • Firewall Policy review and Security Profile Standardization Efforts.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, including Privacy/HIPAA, and other legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
