The IT Infrastructure Engineer ensures the stable and secure delivery and operation of the region's information technology (IT) infrastructure. This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, including network and server infrastructures as well as data communications.

  • Participates in systems design and planning activities.
  • Monitors system resource utilization to project capacity requirements and recommends enhancements to meet current and future system demands.
  • Manages the configuration, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrade, and support of all IT systems.
  • Works within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
  • Benchmarks, analyzes, reports, and offers recommendations for improving all IT infrastructures and systems.
  • Liaison with vendors, IT staff, and end users to provide timely problem resolution.
  • Assists in managing the financial aspects of IT projects, including purchasing and budgeting, and develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.
  • Implements and ensures compliance with all IT policies and procedures, including architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provisions.
  • Leads and participates in local, regional, and global project teams.
  • Handles asset management for all IT hardware and software.
  • Stays current with the latest IT technologies.
  • Develops Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Performs other job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of related work experience including IT infrastructure planning and development.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Networking, LAN/WAN, wireless, advanced firewall (PaloAlto), and network security technologies.
  • Experience working with cloud technologies including Prisma, AWS, GCP.
  • Experience working with Windows and Linux servers including server virtualization and replication.
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
  • Strong project management and customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong interpersonal skills in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
  • Proven ability to research and problem solve IT issues as well as products.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks with a strong attention to detail and a high level of self-motivation.
  • Master's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
  • Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE).
  • Palo Alto Security Automation Engineer (PCSAE).
  • Palo Alto Cloud Security Engineer (PCCSE).
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE).
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE).
  • Cisco Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP).
