Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or certification in an Information Technology related field, or combined equivalent experience.
  • Senior: A minimum of six (6) years infrastructure support experience.
  • Level II: A minimum of three (3) years infrastructure support experience.
  • Level I: No experience required.
  • Effective computing and problem solving skills.
  • Effective knowledge of enterprise server operating systems, applications, hardware configurations, hardware upgrade or repair, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of tcp/ip v4 and v6 networking as it pertains to systems configuration.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Good customer service and organization skills.
  • Technical certification pursuant to the Infrastructure Admin Technology Training Certification Program.

Nice To Haves

  • Scripting skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage all Windows and Linux servers that support SPP's business functions.
  • Manage key infrastructure platforms such as Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, VMware vSphere, CyberArk, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, and HashiCorp Terraform.
  • Focus on virtualization and hardware infrastructure.
  • Build and decommission servers.
  • Manage VMware and Cisco environments.
  • Enhance current processes and create new ones that bring efficiency and cost savings.
  • Research and implement new technologies that benefit the team, the organization, and its members.
