Information Technology Services (ITS), currently has one opening for an Information Security Engineer Level II position in our Chinden office in Boise. This position provides critical, frontline, hands-on support in threat hunting, incident response and security assessments. This position is part of a team that tests, implements, deploys, maintains, reviews, and administers the infrastructure hardware and software that is required to effectively manage the computer network defenses and resources. This position's team also monitors network activity to actively remediate unauthorized activities and perform related work. The selected individual must possess an in-depth knowledge of a wide range of Cybersecurity technologies as they will provide technical, operational, and project leadership as subject matter experts over the Cybersecurity Operations function in delivering 24/7/365 services. In a The position will undertake threat analysis, act on known and imminent cyber threats and maintain the overall effectiveness of the Idaho cyber operations by protecting, detecting and responding to cybersecurity threats both offensively and defensively.
