About The Position

The Defense Health Agency is seeking an experienced IT Human Capital Management Support professional to join our team as a Program Manager Senior. This role requires a deep understanding of manpower, performance management, workforce planning, and human capital management, and is critical in driving the effectiveness of our personnel programs.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive knowledge of manpower, performance management, workforce planning, and human capital management principles and practices.
  • Required understanding of Army, Navy, and Air Force personnel and manpower programs, including relevant regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with the DoD and the Defense Health Agency is highly desirable.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with effective interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance on manpower, performance management, workforce planning, and human capital management within the Department of Defense.
  • Utilize a comprehensive understanding of Army, Navy, and Air Force military personnel and manpower programs, including the regulations and policies that govern these programs.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and enhance strategies that align with the Defense Health Agency's mission and objectives.
  • Manage and support various human capital initiatives and projects, ensuring compliance with established regulations and standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in human capital management, proposing improvements to systems and processes as needed.
  • Utilize MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and SharePoint for creating reports, presentations, and project documentation.
  • Foster effective communication and strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, addressing any issues or concerns related to human capital management.
