About The Position

The IT Help Desk position is located in the Technology Department at the Education Center. Under the direction of the Technology Coordinator, the role involves managing all district helpdesk phone calls and emails, answering calls promptly, and checking the helpdesk email multiple times a day. The individual will escalate issues that cannot be resolved to higher-tier support personnel and will document all problems and solutions. The position requires the ability to safely lift 50 pounds and involves responsibilities such as designing methods for categorizing service calls, handling minor hardware troubleshooting, and assisting with the installation and setup of new computer equipment.
