About The Position

The IT Helpdesk Technician at Techmenity is responsible for providing exceptional technical support to internal clients. This full-time onsite role requires a solid understanding of operating systems, network protocols, and hardware configurations, with a focus on troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently. The technician will serve as the first point of contact for internal users, managing requests, maintaining documentation, and ensuring timely follow-up while prioritizing a customer-centric approach.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of various operating systems including Microsoft Windows, Apple macOS, Google Android, and Apple iOS.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 Admin portal, Office applications, Windows Server, email apps, web browsing, and helpdesk software.
  • Strong knowledge of IP protocols, including TCP/IP, subnetting, and routing.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues and end-user network problems.
  • Experience in a technical support role or equivalent training with at least 1 year of professional experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for internal customers seeking technical assistance over the phone, email, or text.
  • Manage incoming requests and ensure they are properly logged, assigned, and responded to promptly.
  • Create and maintain project-related documentation, including client systems and job details.
  • Diagnose and resolve network issues using various tools and software.
  • Configure, diagnose, and troubleshoot desktops, network drives, devices, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Provide client correspondence before, during, and after job completion, including client tutorials.
  • Ensure clear articulation of problems and solutions through spoken and written methods.
