About The Position

The IT Helpdesk Support Technician at Southern Beverage Company is responsible for providing technical support to customers and staff, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining computer systems and networks. Requirements

  • 1 year of help desk experience (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of PC/LAN hardware troubleshooting and basic knowledge of workstation software.
  • Working knowledge of Windows networking and operating systems.
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (preferred).
  • Knowledge of network cabling (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Provide technical support to customers and staff.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks.
  • Answer customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
  • Provide solutions to technical problems in a timely manner.
  • Keep up to date with new technologies and products.
  • Document all technical support activities.
  • Report all outstanding issues that are not resolved that day to IT Director.
  • Perform all other duties assigned by management.
