About the position

The IT Help Desk Technician III at Cross Catholic Outreach is responsible for providing advanced technical support to both remote and on-site employees. This role involves diagnosing and resolving complex hardware and software issues, configuring IT resources, and assisting with the installation of business software. The technician will also run daily devotionals via Zoom and is expected to maintain a courteous and Christ-like attitude while interacting with staff and clients.

Responsibilities

• Investigates, diagnoses, and resolves problems for Tier 2 and Tier 3 hardware and software issues, networking issues, and peripheral equipment for both on-site and remote users.
• Configure and deploy Information Technology resources, including desktops, laptops, printers, plotters, and mobile devices.
• Assist clients with the installation of business line software and related services.
• Monitor and respond to requests received through the IT helpdesk ticketing system.
• Create step-by-step training material with screenshots for staff.
• Run daily devotionals via Zoom room.
• Understand and enforce the Department's Policies and Procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent; or AA in Information Technology with 5 years' experience.
• Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certifications, Cisco preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT Help Desk.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019) /desktop Operating Systems (10/11)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
• Experience working with Microsoft 365
• SharePoint and SQL knowledge
• Fortinet Router knowledge
• Zoom communications knowledge
• Ability to speak Spanish.
