About The Position

Internship Activities: Over the course of the summer, Love’s interns also participate in the following: Experience multiple business operations Q&A sessions with executives Participation in Greater Grads: InternOKC Community volunteering activities Social-networking events Instructor led Training (Technical and Soft Skills) Mentor program Structured performance feedback Formal presentation to Love’s leadership The automations engineer intern will gain hands-on experience designing, building, and optimizing automation solutions that enhance customer experience, improve agent efficiency, and drive operational performance.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Currently enrolled in a four-year university program, a sophomore level or above (pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, and/or equivalent degree)
  • Programming experience in Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge of cloud services
  • Exposure to RPA tools
  • Understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Basic database skills
  • Computer Skills, Microsoft Office and Access, Customer Service Software, Typing (60+ wpm)
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, customer-focused, ability to learn quickly, team player, attention to detail, thorough follow-up, and ability to multitask
  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, developing, and deploying contact center automations
  • Build and maintain scripts, integrations, or APIs supporting automation projects
  • Support the configuration and optimization of cloud-based contact center platforms
  • Analyze call flow data, agent performance, and automation efficacy to identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with operations, workforce management, and IT teams
  • Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and validating automations
  • Document workflows, technical processes, and solution design
  • Help track and report on automation KPIs
  • Other duties assigned as needed
