About The Position

The IT Hardware Technician position is a term role lasting 3+ months with a high potential for long-term extension. The position is located onsite in Albany, NY, and requires working day shifts from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM ET. The pay for this role is up to $32 per hour, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associates degree and/or 2+ years experience with PC systems, related peripherals and common software programs and Windows Operating Systems.
• Experience imaging machines with SCCM.
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, interpersonal skills and team-oriented attitude.
• Demonstrate active listening skills with ability to act with sensitivity and empathize with customer's situation.
• Demonstrate compassion and discretion in a patient care environment in support of overall service provided to the customer.
• Ability to lift 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy hardware components.
• Install and deploy software applications.
• Image and configure machines using SCCM.
• Structure user workstations.
• Transport a work system to a new location.
• Switch to a different workstation system.
• Alter the end user.
• Install additional hardware.
• Install additional software.
• Alter the existing hardware configuration.
• Update installed software.
• Customize software settings.
• Uninstall unused software.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide resolutions.
• Ensure proper tracking and maintenance of hardware and software systems utilized by the team.
• Act as the liaison between Zones' team and the customer.
• Follow specific instructions provided by the customer.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
