Your job is more than a job The Functional Architect specializes in the design, development, and implementation of applications for LCMC Health business, clinical and/or revenue cycle applications, managing multiple integrated application functions used by the organization to ensure a scalable, reliable, and available architectural system. Strong leaders who are skilled at developing a vision and finding ways to follow through on their idea. Functional Architects are creative and innovative when coming up with potential technical solutions to a client's needs, while still using practical ideas that they can implement within their team. Successful Architects are good at staying organized and checking in on the status of multiple projects at once to make sure all deadlines are met. This includes having strong presentation skills and the ability to accurately explain complex concepts to others. The Functional Architect works independently and assists in mentoring others and is responsible for the following: Performs a variety of technical work associated with analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate clinical and/or revenue cycle functions or to improve existing information technology related systems. The architect will lead in the design and build of software packages to meet the needs of providers, staff, and patients. Primary responsibility will be to develop the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and inter-related systems to meet meaningful use and regulatory standards as well as to meet the needs of the system. Excellence in customer service and superior teamwork skills are essential. Serves to assist in developing the tools the providers and staff need to give the highest quality health care to the patients while ensuring security and efficiency.
