About The Position

The position involves installing and decommissioning project site technology, including network equipment such as wireless access points, P2P radio systems, switches, cameras, and IoT devices. The role also includes data cabling and audio-visual equipment installation in project offices and surveillance trailers. The individual will support project personnel and technology both remotely and onsite from project startup to completion. Interaction with third-party vendors and partners during installations, repairs, and site decommissioning is also a key responsibility. The individual will serve as the primary technical point of contact, communicating with assigned project teams about the work being done, explaining technical issues, and providing updates. Additionally, the role includes providing escalated incident support and managing field end-user requests for hardware, applications, and access.

Requirements

• Three to five years of progressive experience in installation, configuration, and support of Windows-based computer hardware, iOS mobile devices, software, peripherals, network equipment, data cabling, and audio-visual installation.
• Minimum of a two-year post-secondary degree in Information Technology or a related degree.
