We are looking for an experienced IT Field Service Technician (IT Technician) to support our Zions Technology Center, operational offices and branch locations across the Salt Lake valley. The Technology Reliability Engineering and Operations (TREO) organization is a key information technology group supporting our valued internal and external customers. TREO aligns up through the Chief Technology Officer and provides IT services such as hosting, security operations, application, voice, business intelligence infrastructure, collaboration services, and end user support. We focus on both operating and innovating our services to ensure continuous efficiency and modernization. Our team is comprised of both full-time employees and contingent workers spread across 15+ states and three countries. Requirements

  • Requires High School diploma or equivalent and at least 1+ years' experience with computers, networks, computer software and hardware in a field services, or related IT support role
  • Proficient knowledge of application software, networks, PCs LANs, and terminals
  • Enterprise networking, hardware, and server experience highly preferred
  • N+ certification is a plus, not required
  • Leadership, QA, or related experience within the field
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and make appropriate corrections and/or recommendations
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and work with customers on a daily basis
  • A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Some overtime may be necessary on an 'as needed' basis

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Information Technology Department with installing, administering and maintaining the infrastructure of desktops, laptops and other hardware
  • Installation, setup, and maintenance of workstations to include workstation hardware components, base operating systems, networking, software environments
  • Assisting with troubleshooting workstation, application and environmental problems
  • Supporting server systems from an operating system and shared services perspective
  • Assisting systems administrative team members in providing overall environment support
  • Making recommendations on areas of improvement
  • Provide quality analysis and subject matter expertise
  • Assisting internal resources to provide the best possible administrative support
  • Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results in corporative and supportive manner
